What type of cell phone do you recommend?

I am 14 y/o boy. On the go a lot, with marching band, after school clubs, and volunteer work. Currently I have a Palm Centro. I have had it for two yrs now and it is a great phone, but upgrade time is coming so I am looking for a new phone. I was thinking about a Blackberry Curve. With the plan we have it wold only be around 46 dollars for the phone. Mom says it's an option, but I don't want to limit my options. So what kind of cell phone do you recommend? It needs to be full keyboard. Preferably a smart phone, such as a Blackberry, Palm, Droid, etc. I have researched about some, but I want your opinon on them :) Thanks. Btw it does not HAVE to be a smartphone. I would like to get another smart phone, but it does not have to be one. SO thank you :))
