What is the best way to skin a womble?

I was out the other night for my unusual nightly stroll when I found a womble corpse in the local park under a shrub (not much rottage - only half bitten around the kidney area by what seems to be a largish shaped man-beast). So, I dragged it home for keeps. Anyone know the best way I can skin it so that I can dress up in it's outer-sheath without causing gaping holes and therefore brighten up the work's xmas do. I also want to use it's inner organs for some BBQ experimentation or maybe just keep them in jars(?). I'm not sure how I can achieve the least leakage - should I freeze the cute-looking cadaver first or just whistle and hack away. Maybe I could do some kind of autopsy with the rusty tools I found in my shed. Any pointers would help. Cheers.
